A big part of why Schumacher is struggling is the ban on testing. He was winning championships when Rosberg was still sucking his momm'as titties.Michael was away from the sport 3 years and the car is just not to his liking. Sure he is getting old and may be the sport has changed too much for his style (Hakkinen tested and was 3 seconds behind current lap times).

@supercooled of course drivers make a difference. i hate to admit but rosberg is clearly better than schumacher. you can compare them because they drive the same car. if schumacher drove the mclaren/redbull everybody would think schumacher was the better driver. that's what pisses me off. a fair race is only possible if everone drives the same car. there is a reason mclaren drivers are on 1 and 2 (redbull drivers on 3 and 4).

@acelentano87 That's not true. Remember Yuji Ide? I think he's a rare exception but the talent measuring stick is pretty on par in terms of driver talent with a few exceptions being marginally better. You have to wonder why some teams with equal cars have such different results like Alonso and Fisichella for instance. Even this year with Schumacher and Rosberg are a clear indication that drivers do make adifference.

@supercooled what you don't get is that formula 1 isn't about the best drivers, it's about the best cars. schumacher would lose against button even if he was still in his prime. inferior cars make superior drivers look bad.
